Freshmen to make an impact as Lee's offensive philosophy shifts

Standouts like Seth Beer, Chris Williams and Logan Davidson will form the nucleus of Clemson’s everday lineup next season, but head coach Monte Lee will depend on freshmen and unproven youngsters to fill out a good portion of the lineup.

Monte Lee talks Ray Tanner, Chad Holbrook and the job at South Carolina

Clemson head coach Monte Lee was emphatic Friday when he said that he hasn’t been contacted about the opening at the University of South Carolina, but he was just as emphatic when he said that while he hates to see good friends lose their jobs he knows there is a different expectation for baseball in the Palmetto State.

Do or Die: Emotional Tigers not ready to quit
The clock struck midnight, hot dogs were being thrown around the stands in a haphazard fashion and rain clouds darkened the already-night sky, but graduate students Weston Jackson and Tyler Jackson weren’t prepared for Cinderella’s magic ride to turn back into a pumpkin.

Can the flamboyance of flamingos spark Clemson to Omaha?
The NCAA Baseball Twitter account said things “were getting a little weird in Clemson” when the television crews spotted pink flamingos all over the stadium. It’s not weird. It’s just a group of students – and now the fan base – embracing their team and doing whatever it takes to help the Tigers win.

Tim Corbin on Clemson return: "It's still Clemson. It's a good feeling."
Vanderbilt head coach Tim Corbin walked into Doug Kingsmore Stadium and saw plenty that was familiar and some things that weren’t. Superstitious: Greene's rituals rooted in baseball superstition

Baseball players are, by nature, the most superstitious of all athletes. The pace of the game and time between innings allows for players to succumb to the mind games that dominate the sport, and second baseman Jordan Greene might be the most superstitious of all the Tigers.
