The Clemson baseball team is ready for a little home cooking. Before Tuesday night’s 12-0 win over Georgia the Tigers had played 12 of the previous 16 games away from the friendly confines of Doug Kingsmore Stadium.

A little home cooking never hurt anyone. Twelve of the 16 games played prior to Tuesday night had been played on the road, but Clemson began a 13-game homestand with a 12-0 rout of Georgia at Doug Kingsmore Stadium Tuesday evening.

Hecklers beware: Seth Beer lets his bat do the talking as legend grows
Clemson’s freshman sensation added another highlight to his freshman season Tuesday night in Athens, swatting a monstrous solo homer in the eighth inning to tie the Tigers’ game with Georgia at 6-6. Clemson went on to win 11-6 in another critical midweek matchup, and Beer was once again in the middle of everything, going 2-for-3 with three RBIs to lead Clemson’s 11-hit attack.
