Wow. A Whatabout based on a Strawman argument based on revisionist history; you got the trifecta on that one, and all in one short sentence. Especially since Cassidy Hutchinson's on record under oath saying she was told the event happened and by whom, and the guys in question have not gone under oath to refute that account, and the GOP-controlled House could do so at any time and haven't. Odd. But the media's all wrong anyway. Because you just know it. So there. Which means they're wrong about everything, so we should be...listening to Russian propaganda, I guess?
Okay then. I bow to your logic, sir. It's...something.
Again, I'd argue further, but again, there's clearly no point. So continue to fire away, obviously you get something out of it and you're clearly completely unafraid to keep reminding people to not take you seriously.
Me, I'll just shrug and go about my day. No skin off mine if somebody wants to pull an Odie into the wall over and over again, I guess.

Cassidy Hutchinson's testimony about what somebody said that somebody else said?

Oh, but don't ask the driver... Are there any other bunnies with you down in that rabbit hole?
The only thing "odd" is that the J6 committee didn't subpoena the source, they took a third hand account and made a Hollywood production of it. The Uni-Party didn't spare any expense on it. Truth? Who gives a chit.

The House is controlled by the GOP. They could easily talk to the driver and put him under oath if his testimony conflicted with Hutchinson's.
So...why haven't they?

The presumption would be the guy didn't cooperate. There were apparently a truly epic amount of memory failures about the goings-on of that day. That doesn't fly in a courtroom, but a House committee can subpoena and recommend for perjury charges if they can prove they've been lied to, but they really have no real way of compelling testimony like a prosecutor or cop can. Which got them stonewalled...a lot. The fact that the Committee got as much under oath as they did under those circumstances is actually pretty durn impressive. A whole lot of people clearly cooperated willingly.
Neither side has used the guy, which means the guy likely had amnesia like a whole lot of others seemed to. You can draw your own inferences from that.

Are you aware that the current HoR had subpoenaed the entire records of the first (choreographed sham) J6 committee, but yet the original J6 committee had destroyed many of the records and encrypted many of the others so that the current HoR cannot access that information?
Why is the original J6 committee hiding / destroying records (aka evidence]? Is this the behavior of a committee that is committed to the truth.
Too bad that OJ died. He’d have been perfect for the original J6 committee … committed to ‘truth.’

So, it was ZeroHedge that softened up the Biden administration so that the EU & USA were impotent when Russia attacked Ukraine.
In other words, it was ZeroHedge’s fault that the USA allowed Russia to invade Ukraine with what equated to a WNBA-esque response.
Very astute.

of course, you would vote for a sociopath with authoritarian tendencies. You need a strong man to make you feel safe, but unfortunately this one is an imbecile. At least find a real dictator and go for broke here.

As to "authoritarian", who is it that's weaponized government intel/judicial agencies against his political opponent...?
Anybody with a brain KNOWS Biden is merely a bumbling/mumbling mouthpiece... Who's REALLY running the White House?

I give up. Who is this secret authoritarian hiding behind the curtain whose name or existence we do not know, doing the Weekend At Bernie's thing with a barely-ambulatory corpse?
We knew about it every time Rudy Giuliani farted in the Rose Garden, so it seems like we'd have some idea. Or is Mr. X just that clever...and yet seemingly cannot do basic math or balance a budget?
For better or for worse, the buzz out of the WH has always been it's Biden's show, and the word is he's apparently a cranky old bastage who will rip your face off in a meeting.

First off, it's not a singular "authoritarian"... It's an entrenched bureaucracy

Remember the "51 current and former intelligence officials" and their known BS about Hunter's laptop...?
This isn't a Pub/Dem situation... It travels across party lines just so the chosen stay in line.
As I've stated numerous times before, the very first look should be at the source of most all Presidential decisions, the PDB's authors.
As to the next, take a look at the White House staff. Do you see any correlations?

Reminder: Dictatorial government is authoritarian, but authoritarian government does not necessarily have to be dictatorial.
The federal bureaucracy is the dominant influence on the levied politicians; these bureaucrats write the legislation that include the wishes of the big donors to the elected politicians want to please.
The biggest problem with the Democrat wing of the Uniparty is that they are shameless in their disinterest in even reading legislation that they will be voting on.
Remember N.Pelosi imploring Congress to pass one of those gargantuan spending bills such as TARP or ObamaCare (I forget which 9ne it was)? She unabashedly assured Congress that they would get to know what was actually in the bill AFTER they had passed it.
A handful of Republicans spoke up in concern. I don’t recall a single Democrat congressman speaking up against approving legislation that they hadn’t bothered to read.
Obama was an articulate lightweight who didn’t attempt to actually understand these terrible bills. Either that, or he was an evil SOB for pushing such wasteful and corrosive legislation.
Biden is too dumb to tie his own shoes … and that was before dementia transformed him into his current angry little liar form.
Thus, the ‘authoritarian’ tag better fits the Democrat wing of the Uniparty than the Republican wing.
At least Trump has the brainpower, legit financial & construction expertise, and willingness to actually represent American voters to question and, when needed, change legislative proposals that the bureaucrats compose under the guidance of K Street.
The bureaucracy hates Trump. He will never be allowed by the bureaucracy to be a dictator. For that matter, the bureaucracy will never allow a Democrat president to become a true dictator. Rather, the bureaucracy will allow a mindless Democrat to be a ceremonial / honorary dictator, remotely similar to how England morphed into a parliamentary government, yet with the King being the titular head of state.

BTW, he DoJ had stopped charging ‘new’ J6 peaceful protesters with the ‘corruptly obstructing an official proceeding’ since ~6 to ~ 9 months ago. DoJ knew that SCOTUS would hear these cases, and would recognize the unconstitutionality of the second subsection of this law.
I think the (abused) part of this law is 1512 subsection C2. (1512 subsection C1 applies specifically to crimes which took place in the Enron scam; C1 is narrowly constructed and specific, as a criminal statute should be). 1512 subsection C2 is surely constitutional, as it is a broad dragnet of at least two essentially xtremely broad and non-descriptive terms.
The jig is finally up as far as the legality of the part of the DoJ’s role as far as illegally incarcerating protesters whose only ‘crimes’ are misdemeanors.

The Nat Guard (remind me … was this the NJ National Guard) may not ‘like’ Yrump, but that doesn’t change the fact that Trump had recommended National Guard presence on J6.
Don’t let anyone talk you out of your blue pill supplements. Where would you be if something jolts you out of your TDS?
