… confident and effective in the spring game?
I have not watched the spring game, just practicing overreacting and post snarky misguided comments.
Oh __ bring back Streeter!

time...
I don't know all the intricacies the coaches are looking at when it comes to the QB position but from my very uninformed, totally amateur eye - that Pearman kid sure looked like he was the best QB on the field yesterday.
I get that Pearman might not have the flashy arm strength hype and 5 star rating from his HS recruiting profile - but he made faster decisions and got both the orange and white offense's in a rhythm that moved the ball.
At the end of the day - what is it we want from a QB? A hyped up strong arm QB who can hammer nails with a football but is very inconsistent or someone who reads the field quickly, establishes a rhythm and can reliably move the offense down the field?
If nothing else - seems to me that Pearman has earned a chance to play with the "1's" a bit more to see if he may actually be QB-1.

missed the first few series which apparently were a whole load of nothing.
We do not have a great QB no matter who they pick, but that Pearman kid seems to make good decisions quickly.

Was it Watson who came into an early season game at UGA AND .

everyone saw “IT” immediately. The quickness in vision, decision making and accurate throws usually manifests itself early in college football. It can be improved upon with good coaching. Rarely is it developed if it’s not there by the time a QB is 20. Even Brice showed those skills in a backup role.

Started, and definitely would have won the FSU game if Stoudt hadn’t farted away the start.

a player’s family was personal friends with Dabo in some way, they didn’t know what to say about them.

The announcers pretty much had the day off with Dabo on the mic.***

Pearman looked better by far. More consistent and quicker picking up receivers. Only saw him force it into coverage one time. He should start in real world but we know how this works. On the other hand, we seem to be getting our monies worth from Porkchop and have some good freshman and sophomores coming along on both sides of the ball.
I think I missed a few plays while appreciating the scenery with my new toric lens implant. Can now see them neepples from 100+ feet! It's Spring and have been reconsidering my previous self-imposed hermit status. Not sure my old heart would withstand a trip to the beach.
Lastly, hopeful as am, I will not bet the farm on that first game. Could be a good one though. Also, we didn't have many dumb procedure penalties so that was nice to see.

Playcalling set the first two QBs in position to fail and it wouldn't surprise..

me to find out that Dabo had plays called that Pearman had mastered. That builds confidence in Pearman and causes the other two to hear the footsteps closing in.
It's a scrimmage game. You build up the weaker players and humble the strong. Anyone not doing this in a scrimmage game is doing it wrong.

so you're saying Dabo sticks his fanger in the play calling, even Spring Game?

Lack of surprise here, but nice input I hadn't considered, after only reading summary of game. I'm not buying that Cade is not improved, not certain about Vizzina, nor surprised Pearman looked great.
All in a day's work for Dabo.

sabotage the QB's 1 and 2 to make #3 look good. LOL.
If anything, he should have done the reverse. Cade is the one that needs his confidence built up. Naw, man, Cade is just not a quick decision guy or questions his decisions, I have no doubt he will be our #1 going into UGa. None. I hope he performs well, obviously.
