Good morning everyone how was your weekend?

Friday night, nothing too exciting, worked on my next YouTube video then made a YouTube short that has become my most successful one yet. It was goofy but after 3 ways of the algorithm pushing it out it has nearly 11k views. It also landed me a few subscribers. While those people aren't likely to also tune into the long form stuff, I'm just really pushing for 500 as things start to change in YouTube then.
Saturday, my dad called and said they wanted to come up Sunday so we started to straighten up the house. Had two failed attempts to haul off recycling, finished the night by getting some of those insomnia cookies.
Sunday, folks came up and visited a spell. Rocky's Hot Chicken for lunch then a trip to Swamp Rabbit Cafe.

Fri night - Took the kids to Moe's while MsLovin was out of town. Watched the Mario Bros movie. Pretended to be aero and made a fishing youtubes video.
Sat - Picked up my new weedeater, played around the house, went down to dad's for burgers and did a little fishing. Caught about 10 bass in 90 mins of fishing.
Sun - Church in the morning, had friends over and played pickleball and ordered pizza.

that told her hubby she was going out of town with her girlfriends. She brought 27 pencils for some real nice kink.
Weirdest part, she was driving her hubby's truck and wanted me to bang her on the tailgate at the air b&b we rented. I found an old crankbait in the truck bed and kept it for a souvenier.
69/10, would do again!

Fri - A little karaoke
Sat - met brother at cork n cap bottle shop. CharlestonTiger15® should check it out and rank their wine selection. Had a couple nice german beers, and then we split a bottle of pinot noir. Went to southbound smokehouse and had a salad. Yes, you read that right - a salad. Caught a little live music then home.
Sun - watched the Scottie Scheffler experience until play was suspended. Went to Mellow and had a couple beers, then next door to the dump for music bingo. Home, exhausted.
Probably spend too much time in downtown Aiken.

Friday...got to work very early and left work early 'cause tired af. Watched some movie I can't remember with wife. Crashed early.
Saturday...helped wife-of with some yard work. Repaired garden hose reals on sides of house. Fiddled with pond pump to get fountain to stop spraying water out of pond. Slipped in some mud and cut a nice gash in one of my toes. Lunch with fam downtown. Met another couple at Maki for dinner and then went to see The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare...decent movie.
Sunday...cooked breakfast for fam. Skipped church 'cause everyone was lazy in the cold rain. Took daughter-of to lunch, then for grocery run, then watched Celtics playoff game with son-of. Hotdogs and baked beans for dinner. Watched a few episodes of SWAT with daughter and in bed by 10.
Low-key decent weekend.

With the splendid Clemson sunset, then over to Kite Hill for brews and good music. Grass mowing Saturday then over to Sparty for dinner club. Aprtoaching Sparty we could see that giant storm cloud and Hail-r*ped Rock Hill. Got home late, slept in Sunday morn, watched drizzling cold rain and Scottie…Castiron seared filets for dinner.

Thurs night saw Clue at the peace center and had dinner downtown, nice date night.
Friday busy workday, enjoyed cocktails and dinner on the patio. Listened to some music and bought Tyler Childers tickets for June.
Saturday was yardwork day all day long. Painted some patio footstools to give them a new life. Weeding and mulching, and some heavy duty pruning. Had a little fire with the trimmings and spent another evening in the backyard. Watched a little hockey by the fire and had a bourbon.
Sunday weather was blah, but that made it easier on me cause I had to work all day. Had to put in about 16 hours to prep orders for this week. Finally got to bed around 2, mission accomplished.
Did not meet a hawk. 6 out of potato.

Friday, finished up watching first season of Fallout on Prime. Quite enjoyed it...better than I imagined it would be.
Saturday, drove to the ATL, checked in hotel, Ubered to Pullman Yards for Sweetwater 420. Great little venue, easy to get up close to the stage, and rain held off. Heard the last two Andy Frasco & the UN songs as we were getting into the festival. Then Larkin Poe put on a freaking ROCK SHOW, even covered Jessica in honor of Dickey Betts. Next was St. Paul and the Broken Bones with an awesome set. Paul walked all through the crowd singing a couple of tunes. Next was Grace Potter and she ROCKED OUT. Her band is incredible. Gov't Mule closed out and were fantastic as always. They did Blue Sky for Dickey, and injected parts of Allman tunes in all their extended jams, which drove the crown wild. Not sure I've ever seen four bands back-to-back at a festival turn in scorching sets like that before. Usually, somebody is going to mail a set in but not on Saturday.
Decided to walk a mile to MARTA after the festival rather than fight the crowd trying to get rideshare. Got to the train station just as the bottom fell out of the sky. We were staying in Buckhead, so rode the train as far as we could and then called Uber from the closest stop since it would have been a 2.7 mile walk to the hotel in a downpour. Got back around 1 am and crashed.
Sunday, slept in a bit, then headed out to find food, then drove home in the rain. Got off at Exit 1 and took 11 all the way back home rather than fight the interstate in the rain and the couple of wrecks reported ahead. Easy ride back once out of ATL. Got home, found out there were tornados and hail storms but we got nothing at our house thank Mothra! Made a quick grocery run, then came home and collapsed in the Bog Chair.
190/19 Covids. The festival and the bands were THAT good.

You could work your way up to the front without too much work, plenty of room for the vendors, and places to get out of the crowd if you wanted. If the lineup is as stellar as this year, we'll go back again. I was impressed with the entire complex.

Perfect size venue, perfect size crowd. If it goes back to being an enormous festival with expensive tickets, I might have to pass. Saturday was a far more intimate music experience in my opinion.

Friday night at Captain Bill's for daughter's year end volleyball team party. Had some beers, watched them play beach volleyball, decent time.
Saturday morning 6:00 AM Dri-Tri at OTF. That was my first one, did it in 40:27. That is a 2000m row, 300 (I think) bodyweight exercises on floor, then a 5k on treadmill. I finished 2nd in the 6:00am heat, got beat by a lady who is super fit. Then off to soccer game #1, middle son's match, where they tied 1-1. He had their only goal and also hit the crossbar on a great shot and almost took a kid's head off with a third shot, but couldn't produce the winner. Their keeper had probably 10 saves, almost all right at him. Oh well. Then across town to daughter's soccer game. By this time, it was about 83 degrees and no shade so they struggled to keep running. One girl almost got sick. They still won, 5-0 I think. One of her friends came back to our house then we hit the beach. Stayed on the beach until around 6:00 and saw the storm coming so we headed in. Ordered pizzas and hunkered down for some good ole thunder and lightning. I think it was the remnants of what hit RH Tig and the others in Rock Hill, but it had dissipated a good bit before it got all the way to us.
Sunday up for son's second soccer match but it got cancelled due to field condition. Then took daughter to beach volleyball practice and back home to do laundry and clean house. Dinner and groceries then back to bed to start the week all over again.

Fri. was nondescript. We ate pizza and I went to bed early after a long week.
Sat.: Ran a 5k with the 3yo in a stroller. I ran of PR of 32 minutes. That's not a world record but I'm very happy with it. I got some plants in the ground and yard work done. We hosted about 20 family members for the one year old's birthday party. Burgers and hot dogs on the Blackstone were a hit. A+
Sun.: church, followed by family pictures for my parents and all their grandkids. I don't know if one single photo had every kid smiling, but it was a fun time anyway. Dinner was homemade fried chicken sandwiches. It turned out very well. A+.
Only downside is I'm worn out already for the week.

the concert until 2 in the morning. Flatland Calvary was good though. Just as good live as their albums. Was beside the state house so many college girls. My nephew who is going to college next year about broke his neck looking. And let me tell you, I don't know what they are putting in the chickens these days, but those girls are STACKED. Cowboy boots, cowboy hat and barely any other clothing.
Anyways, started pressure washing the house friday to get ready to paint.
Saturday: Dad of came over to button up some issues on the outside of the house so we can paint. Then finished pressure washing. Went swimming in the new pool. Was nice.
Sunday: Didn't plan on doing anything but ended up doing some things. Wife of wanted a lemon tree. There are some massive lemon trees where we hunt so I went there to dig up some sprigs. I forgot they have massive razor sharp thorns. So my hand is ate up pretty good. Also had to take a wild dook and realized too late that somebody had taken the TP from my truck. Lost a really good t shirt that day.

and other paper type things to places that tell us it gets recycled. If is is true or not, I don't know.
As for plastics, we need to replace containers and such with glass and have more localized distribution centers to try and cut down on the cost. Bring back the programs where you get your nickel back if you bring your coke bottle back.
