that they will never enter the Top 25 the entire year??? There are no teams that they play that are worthy of helping them into the T25 as none of them will be rated. So they only have ONE shot, even if they go 10-2 it just won't really matter. LOLOL at the coots. Another dreadful year.

Big fan of the OP predicting Clemson to finish outside of the top 25.
I hope you’re right.

I assumed that SCUm would have more to show for 120+ years of football than a lone 50 year old conference championship. I feel like such an a$$.
Hey chill there. Did you not forget they got 5th place championship rings a few years back? That's one hell of an accomplishment for them. Means they didn't finish last.

Still living in a (carefully selected) segment of the past?

Distant past! What have you done for me lately?
Let’s ignore the overall record and the recent record. Surprised you aren’t cackling about the 5-peat in football.

We beat you, again in head to head competition. Actually for the third year in a row. You didn't "win" anything more than we did. Participation trophies don't count. Not to mention you got an easier draw than we did.

Guess it's been so long since you've won a regional you wouldn't remember it's not a participation trophy.

Why engage the poultry derp? They ain't got much. When they win a few they say history does not matter,. When Clemson wins a few the recent history does not matter nor does the full history, just the few years old history. And you wipe them out in football they talk about four year old baseball and girl's BB. In football, the dung hill ##### have lost more home games to their main rival than any other championship division team. Think of it.
But that doesn't matter because Dabo "has some sort of corrupt thing with a church we can't describe and. . . "reasons." Don't talk about basketball even though we've dominated for thirty years because they won more historically. But then don't point out that we've won more baseball games historically because of what happened a few years ago, even though we've beat them for three years. Can they decide what kind of hypocrisy they want? They need to choose a position. But the most important thing is football. They believe it too. They left the ACC because the ACC favored basketball and they wanted to leave those constraints for football. They were still crap after. We were bad for a few years but were always competitive with them in football. Now we are near the top and they can't bear it.
I like the way they pump themselves up by 9 wins against the least and miracle pullouts against awful teams. Sets up well. Let them be ranked and get the Columbia press all worked up. Always have fun when they think they worth something.
Won't accuse them of being mediocre. They have a way to go. But they certainly have delusions of mediocrity.

Over the past several summers, I've watched and listened as they work themselves into a lather of preseason hype. These unrealistic expectations are comical and borderline delusional, which sets the stage nicely for the inevitably epic meltdowns. No one melts down like gamecock fans and it brings me great pleasure to have a front row seat.

#19 FSU. The one ranked team on Clemsons schedule. So I guess we both have a schedule full of teams that aren't "rated".

Wait though. Doesn't kissing the azzes of other SEC teams count towards something? Coattail riding like a buncha little baby-backed beeches.

How many power 5 out of conference games on your schedule? 1? No one in the SEC has more than 1. Maybe you should all have chicken mascots.

I don't give 2 ##### about the Gamecocks, but you're delusional if you think a 10-2 SEC team won't finish in the top 25. Any 10-2 Power 5 team would finish in he top 25. Not suggesting they'll finish 10-2, just going with your premise.

No love for the Coots here, but if they go 10-1
Aug 31, 2018, 9:21 AM

Coming into our game, they will EASILY be ranked in the top 15, in my opinion.
No way a 10-1 SEC team doesn’t get all kind of love from the pollsters.
Probably even top 10.
