Chauncey Goodwin would be a huge get..... Body like Chauncey, mind like Porkchop. It would be the perfect storm of awesomeness....
I love me some Wes "Porkchop" Goodwin.... never judge a book by its cover b/c Wes can call some defenses. I think he's going to grow into the DC role even more and may need a get back coach this season. He's already hired a PR agency to work on his post game interviews.

Very encouraging, thanks for putting this together! If we can get our QB position figured out (Cade/Hebert turn out to be legit), we are in for a great next few years.

I'd like to see us land another stud LB - the most important position on defense.

I think the hope is that Williams(DT) still has two years to play.

We probably lost around 10 players to the portal again. Mostly veteran backups looking for more playing time. That seems to be the types that transfer out.

I would say that there's a real possibility that we could snag WR Kaliq Lockett (No. 11 nationally, No. 2 WR). Leaning towards LSU, but by the way things are looking lately, I think we have a legitimate shot with anybody. He had us in his top ten.

Great stuff! Well thought out. I've always enjoyed reading your posts. I had rather read this kind of content than the stupidity of Marion and Balm.

In order of most to least needed prospects out of those:
1) David Sanders 2) Elyjah Griffin 3) Jontae Gilbert 4) DJ Pickett 5) Mason Short 6) Cortez Mills Etc.
We get 3 out of those 6, we’re good. We get more than 3, we are really set.
We all want Sanders the most. I really was glad to see him schedule the return visit in June. I have a feeling Georgia is giving it their all of course. And it’s hard to compete with that currently. It’s like being Georgia when Clemson was taking people from Georgia like Deshaun and Trevor.
Elyjah Griffin is such a need to keep the brand of the D-line. He’s a Georgia lean apparently. With our tradition at that position and likely more playing time at Clemson, we’re a a contender for a late made decision.
DJ Pickett really could be my number 1, but it wouldn’t make sense because the secondary is not a problem really. I think it will come down to Alabama, Clemson, Florida, LSU, Georgia.
The main issue is Georgia. But we’ve obviously created a spark in recruiting with some of these later commitments. We just need an alpha for the 25’ class. The reason is to attract more to Clemson for that class.
