Freshmen run free in 73-7 rout of Bulldogs |
CLEMSON – The freshmen were freed Saturday afternoon in Death Valley.
Several of Clemson’s younger players found playing time plentiful as the Tigers raced out to a 34-0 halftime lead and continued to roll in a 73-7 pasting of South Carolina St. The win evens the record of both teams at 1-1, with Clemson facing an off week next week and a trip to Florida St. the week after. Saturday, however, was all about the youngsters.
