Former Clemson All-American Seth Beer is on the move.

Beer was a part of a deal including four prospects in the Houston Astros' farm system in exchange for Arizona Diamondbacks ace Zack Greinke.

Beer was a first-round pick for the Astros in 2018 and was enjoying a solid 2019 campaign in the minors, where he was hitting .299 with 16 home runs and 52 RBIs in 63 games at the AA-level and .309 with 25 home runs and 86 RBIs on the season overall.

He won the Dick Howser Trophy as the nation's best player as a freshman and went on to average .321 with a .489 on-base percentage over 188 games as a Tiger, ranking first in Clemson history in slugging percentage (.648) and walks per at-bat (one per 3.59) with 56 home runs, 177 RBIs and 172 runs.
